Project Description

Support a family at risk of separation to remain together and create a brighter future for their children. In Cambodia, parents often feel forced to place their children in orphanages due to poverty but 77% of children in orphanages have living parents. Every child has the right to live in a safe and nurturing family environment. This Life Cambodia works to preserve vulnerable families through supporting self-determining income generation activities such as raising livestock, growing vegetables, and repairing motorcycles. This project also covers scholarships and emergency medical care.

More About This Project

As at June 2020, 114 families have been supported to set up small businesses capable of generating income. In addition, 311 families have been enrolled in the project.
